The company was founded and incorporated in 2002 and it was then known as Hathaway, Inc. It changed its name to Isys Medical, Inc in 2008 and to FutureWorld Energy, Inc in 2009. Finally, the diversified company became FutureWorld Corporation in July 2014.

Valued at USD 10.88 M, FutureWorld is now traded in the OTC markets under the symbol FWDG.

One of FutureWorld Corp’s subsidiaries is HempTech, a provider of proprietary technology solutions to cultivators of medical marijuana and industrial hemp. Among HempTech’s solutions are the intrusion detector SPIDer, the data collection system SmartSense, and the energy management system SmartNergy. It also offers a cannabis analytics dashboard called CaNNaLyTiX and a seed-to-sale tracking software called CaNNaTRaK.

Two other subsidiaries of FutureWorld Corp, which are MedTest, Inc and CB Scientific, handle the laboratory and analytics activities of the company. These subsidiaries aim to provide cannabis patients and breeders with a better access to safe and pure medicinal cannabis.

FutureWorld also has a division that offers vaporizer pens. This division is URVape, and it sells the vaporizers under the URVape brand. It currently has vaporizers that can be used only for oils, but it is working on vaporizers for dry herbs, among other products.

There are also other subsidiaries under FutureWorld: FutureFinance is the division that provides financial services like payment processing, currency exchange, and cash management, all under the CaNNaBit trademark. DispenseTeck, on the other hand, offers an automated medicinal marijuana dispenser called the CaNNaBox machine.

FutureWorld Corporation’s top executives include Chairman and Acting CEO Saeed Talari, Co-founder and President J. Marshall Batton, COO Bill Short, Co-founder and Consultant Jacques Laurin, and Co-founder Douglass W. Wright.
